THE MOMENT
March 29, 1987. WrestleMania III. Pontiac Silverdome. 93,000 people.
This is the moment before the most iconic match in professional wrestling history. Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, face to face. The Irresistible Force vs The Immovable Object.
For Hogan, this was his ascension. He would body-slam the Giant and become immortal.
For Andre, this was the beginning of the end. Within a few years, he would be gone.
This painting captures that pause before the war. The calm before the body slam heard around the world.

THE SYMBOLISM
Grayscale oil with red accents. The skull overlay represents mortality and legacy—both men are gone now, but this moment lives forever.
The X's over their eyes: they're not seeing each other. They're seeing beyond. Their own mortality. Their place in history.
The red skull between them: death is always present, even in the spectacle. Especially in the spectacle.
"Brother" written in red at the bottom—Hogan's catchphrase, his gift to the world, now part of the visual language.
This isn't just sports art. This is about fame, mortality, and the moment everything changes.
